Our center isn't open on Saturday and national holiday. Tests are available on weekdays (Monday~Friday), and they are offered after the registration between 8~9am.

Please take essential medicines such as hypertension pills with a small amount of water at 6am on the day of examination. However, diabetes pills should not be taken on the day. A person who is taking aspirin and/or antithrombotics should have a consultation with the doctor who prescribed the medicine 7 days prior to the examination because he/she is at risk of bleeding in case of biopsy test or polyp removal during the test.

Please take the medicine for bowel preparation before 6am, and empty your bowels. Taking half of the medicine in the afternoon a day before the examination and the rest of it in the morning on the day would be more effective in emptying your bowels completely. If you are scheduled to take a physical examination during a period, the tests excluding urine and/or gynecological examination could be given to you. The tests unable to be performed during menstruation would be performed separately. We will contact with the test results.
Conscious sedation endoscope is to perform a endoscopy under sedation by giving the sedatives. In this case, a person could go home before being fully awake even though taking enough rest in the recovery room. Therefore, please avoid driving a car by yourself and ensure you are accompanied by a guardian or friend for safety.
A pregnant woman can get a physical examination excluding radiographic tests, endoscopy and colonoscopy under conscious sedation which can affect fetus and/or mother. Exposure to radiation is dangerous to the fetus. All women of childbearing age are recommended to check their menstrual cycle and pregnancy test in order to avoid the risk of radiation exposure for the fetus. The Health Promotion Center does not provide the pregnancy test.
※ Radiographic test : Mammography, Chest x-ray, Abodomen x-ray, UGI series, Bone densitometry, CT(Computed tomography), etc.
All tests excluding mammography could be taken. In principle, the tests which use a radiation such as basic x-ray, mammography, CT, etc are known as harmless for breast-feeding. However a radiographic test is not recommended during breast-feeding if possible because there are no specific standards yet. The UGI series and endoscopy under conscious sedation can be taken but it would be better to stop breast-feeding for a day after the test due to medication effects.
We would like to recommend you the physical examination type A for unmarried woman. An unmarried woman who is a virgin cannot have a pap smear. The abnormal findings such as uterine myoma in pelvis and ovarian cyst, the abnormality of structure can be detected by gynecology(vaginal) ultrasonography and it will be tested through the anus. However for unmarried woman, the uterus and ovary can be checked by lower abdomen(pelvic) ultrasonography which examines the inside of pelvis on stomach with filling bladder instead of gynecology(vaginal) ultrasonography.
We would like to recommend you the physical examination for unmarried woman. There are breast ultrasonography and mammography for checking a breast. Breast ultrasonography is recommended for unmarried woman (under 35 years old). The reason is that breast density of unmarried woman is increased while taking the mammography, and it can cause the uncertain lesion, pain and radiation exposure. Therefore, we recommend a breast ultrasonography for unmarried woman.
A person who receives a physical checkup is eligible for free parking for 8 hours on the day. Those patients who have had an endoscopy or colonoscopy under conscious sedation are prohibited from driving a car after the procedure for safety, and must use public transportation. (Driving a car after endoscopy can be regarded as drunk driving.)
If you prefer to pay a bill in advance, making a deposit without a bankbook would be available. However, some additional costs could be charged in case of additional tests on the day. Also a full refund would be possible if you cancel the appointment after payment, but it will take quite some time to give you a refund. Therefore, it is preferred that you pay a bill on the day of examination rather than in advance.
